Leadership Letter from the Founder & CEO


I clearly remember that July evening in Cambridge, July 22nd 2022, during my time at the Harvard Business School Executive MBA Program. One of our class exercises was to write a letter to ourfuture selves - a tradition for everyone in the program. As I picked up the pen, I knew something was shifting. This moment would drastically change my career and life.


At the time, I was still working with eCommerce at The LEGO Group, surrounded by smart people and big ambitions, however something inside me knew that things could be done different. I wasn't entirely sure what shape it would take yet, but I knew I wanted to build something more deliberate, something with a lasting impact. That letter, scheduled to arrive in my inbox one year later, was a promise: to build something different - a company rooted in purpose and people, but powered by strategy, technology, AI, and automation to solve complex challenges the right way.


That promise became the foundation of Copenhagen Commerce.


From day one, we chose a different path. We stayed independent, turning down outside capital so we could focus entirely on building meaningful strategic partnerships and world-class technology without rushing. For us, this wasn't about growing fast for the sake of it. It was about growing right. We wanted to do work we were proud of, build systems that solved real problems, and take the time to deeply understand our clients' needs.


Today, Copenhagen Commerce partners with iconic global brands and ambitious eCommerce

leaders. These companies often operate across dozens of markets, languages, and product

categories. Their challenges are complex. But what they truly needed was a partner to navigate the complexity with them. Someone who could bring both strategic clarity and executional excellence.


Our team is diverse in background and unified in purpose. We have people who have worked within agencies and at brands all around the world, bringing hard-earned experience and a global perspective. prototype. We improve together. In fact, many of our best ideas have come directly from client

feedback, turned into real products and workflows by our engineering team. One client even called us their "AI strategy." That's a badge we wear proudly.

To the senior leaders reading this: I know the pressure you're under. Your role is to drive results,
