Silas Moestrup Pedersen

CEO & Founder

Silas Moestrup Pedersen is the Founder and CEO of Copenhagen Commerce, where he leads a team dedicated to redefining what a modern marketplace agency can deliver. With a focus on operational excellence, strategic experimentation, and sustainable brand growth, Silas brings deep cross-functional expertise to the evolving world of digital commerce.

 

His career spans leadership roles at LEGO, where he led large-scale e-commerce and advertising initiatives across international markets. Drawing on this experience, Silas founded Copenhagen Commerce with a clear mission: to help brands navigate complexity and unlock growth through platform-native strategies, data-driven insights, and agile execution.

 

Silas holds executive credentials from Harvard Business School and is deeply engaged in conversations around innovation, team culture, and long-term entrepreneurship. His leadership style is marked by clarity, empathy, and a strong belief in ownership and autonomy at every level of the organization.

 

Outside of work, Silas remains an active voice in the Nordic tech and eCommerce ecosystem, and is committed to continuous personal growth – whether through executive learning, product design or purposeful travel. He believes that building a company is both a professional and personal journey - shaped by conviction, creativity, and care.

CCO

With over a decade of experience at the intersection of commerce, digital transformation, and customer centricity, Nicolai brings rare depth to leading omnichannel strategies for global brands. Currently serving as Senior Director of Omni Enablement at Newell Brands, he is responsible for orchestrating how multiple legacy businesses unite under one streamlined retail.com and eCommerce strategy - driving consistency, scale, and innovation across digital touchpoints.

 

His role centers on building future-proof digital organizations, advancing assortment optimization, enhancing digital merchandising, and rethinking fulfillment strategies. Nicolai thrives in complexity, comfortably navigating matrixed teams with dual-reporting structures, while keeping customer experience and performance top of mind.

 

Before Newell, Nicolai led PurePlay eCommerce at Kellogg’s, owning the P&L for 9-figure businesses and guiding company-wide learning on performance marketing, pricing architecture, and Amazon strategy. At LEGO, he held pivotal roles both in digital marketing and vendor management for Amazon, where he scaled search, SEO/SEM, content, and partnership strategies with major entertainment brands.

 

He holds academic credentials from both Aarhus University and Eastern Connecticut State University across disciplines like Business Law, eCommerce, IT in Business, and International Finance.

What drives him? A relentless curiosity for how digital ecosystems evolve - and how to make them not only work, but win.

Nicolai Kousholt Soendergaard

CTO

As CTO at Copenhagen Commerce, Andreas leads the creation of a unified AI-driven e-commerce intelligence engine that continuously learns from millions of data points to forecast demand, automate strategic optimizations, ensure product data quality, monitor visibility, surface high-impact insights, generate SEO-rich content, and launch and manage campaigns at scale - empowering brands to act with speed, precision, and confidence.

 

Before stepping into his current role, he spent more than two years at Novo Nordisk, designing and refining end-to-end data-processing frameworks and predictive-analytics systems in a rigorously regulated research environment. He transformed complex experimental datasets into robust, actionable insights that accelerated decision-making cycles. Early in his career, he co-authored a paper at AISTATS - an experience that cemented his research-driven mindset and now fuels fresh ideas and technical excellence at Copenhagen Commerce.

 

With a background in AI Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark, supplemented by international studies at the University of Technology Sydney and the Technical University of Munich, Andreas has mastered scalable AI architectures and probabilistic modeling. Outside of work, he channels his energy into all forms of physical activity, with a particular passion for weightlifting - reflecting the same discipline and drive he brings to every technical challenge.

Lise Veronique Detobel

Advertising Lead

Lise leads the advertising strategy at Copenhagen Commerce, where she bridges creative thinking with data-driven precision. With a master's degree in Digital Marketing Strategy from Trinity College Dublin and a business degree from King's College London, her academic foundation is global and robust. She has honed her expertise in digital media, analytics, and cross-platform advertising through international experiences in London, Dublin, Copenhagen, and New York.

 

Prior to joining CC, Lise developed her skills at firms like Clarins and Kepler, where she worked on performance marketing, Amazon DSP campaigns, and brand development. She's certified across a spectrum of platforms including Amazon Ads, Google Ads (Display & Search), and DV360 – a testament to her full-funnel competence

 

Known for her strategic rigor, Lise excels at aligning digital media execution with overarching commercial goals.

Client & Operations Lead

As Client Strategy & Operations Lead, Benedikt brings a robust blend of strategic insight and hands-on e-commerce execution to his role. He designs and oversees initiatives that drive digital growth, optimize marketplace performance, and scale operational frameworks - leveraging data-driven decision making to deliver measurable results for clients.

 

Benedikt’s professional background includes self-directed cross-category coordination of projects at ebay, where he also managed category and account duties, and cultivated relationships with key brands. As a Junior E-Commerce Consultant at eBazaaris, he managed Amazon and eBay accounts for several pharmaceutical clients, led bi-weekly KPI reviews, and collaborated effectively within an international team.

 

Beyond his core role, Benedikt is commited to academic research on platform innovation and holds a master’s degree in Digital Business from Copenhagen Business School. He is a native German speaker, fluent in English, and possesses basic proficiency in Danish, enabling effective collaboration with international stakeholders.

Michelle Quynh Ngoc Mai

Software Engineer Specialist

As a Software Engineer Specialist, Michelle builds internal tools, data systems, and client-facing platforms that support everything from campaign performance to real-time insights. She’s also working on the company’s website - designing and developing a clean, user-friendly experience that reflects the team’s modern and practical approach.

Her work spans automation, cloud infrastructure, and machine learning. Whether she’s improving how teams manage data or helping clients get more out of their eCommerce strategies, Michelle combines strong technical skills with a focus on usability.

Michelle’s path into tech was shaped by a natural curiosity about how systems work and a love for solving complex problems. What started with code and infrastructure soon grew into a deeper interest in how people experience technology. She’s currently completing her Bachelor’s in Software Technology at DTU and preparing to pursue a Master’s in Business Analytics.

With a strong foundation in engineering and a growing interest in how data drives decisions, Michelle is drawn to the business side of technology - where insights, strategy, and user needs come together. For her, it’s not just about building systems, but about understanding their real-world impact and helping organizations make smarter, more informed choices.

When she’s not working, Michelle enjoys staying active through running and strength training, finding it a great way to maintain focus, balance, and energy.

Advertising Specialist

Carl Oscar is an Advertising Specialist at Copenhagen Commerce, where he plays a key role in executing platform-native advertising campaigns across Amazon. He supports campaign setup, performance monitoring, and status reporting – ensuring on-time, high-precision delivery and strategic alignment across client accounts. His work contributes directly to the agency’s focus on scalable, insight-driven performance marketing.

 

With a strong analytical mindset and a structured approach to problem-solving, Carl Oscar helps strengthen the operational backbone of our performance team. He is continually building his expertise in digital media, marketplace ecosystems, and e-commerce strategy, and has a keen interest in how data and creative performance intersect. Carl Oscar also manages Copenhagen Commerce’s merchandise operations, ensuring quality, consistency, and brand alignment across all touchpoints – driven by his deep passion for fashion and eye for detail.

 

Carl Oscar is currently pursuing a degree in Economics and Business Administration at Copenhagen Business School, where he focuses on the intersection of data, marketing, and business. His academic work complements his day-to-day contributions at Copenhagen Commerce, allowing him to bring a unique blend of emerging theory and practical execution to his role.

Marie-Louise Rasmussen

HR & Business Operations Lead

Marie-Louise is the operational backbone of Copenhagen Commerce, where she leads all people and back-office operations. She manages everything from contract design and payroll administration to authority reporting and internal compliance frameworks. Her work ensures smooth day-to-day operations and lays the foundation for a scalable, compliant, and people-first organization.

 

With extensive experience in HR, payroll, finance, and regulatory compliance across the Nordics, Marie-Louise has a proven track record of building operational infrastructure in high-performance environments. Prior to joining Copenhagen Commerce, she worked at Prokura, where she led talent acquisition, onboarding, contract management, and leave administration - developing deep expertise in Nordic employment law.

 

Marie-Louise holds a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management from Copenhagen Business School, where she focused on future-of-work trends, digital collaboration, and labor law. She is certified in GDPR, first aid, and various HR compliance topics, and is regarded as a specialist in cross-border payroll and employment regulation. Outside the office, Marie-Louise is a former competitive show jumper, having represented Denmark on the national equestrian team. This experience shaped her resilience, precision, and ability to perform under pressure - qualities that continue to define her work in operational leadership.
